Privacy

Short version: the apps collect nothing, the site counts visits.

This site

Yandex Metrica counts visits: which pages are opened, where visitors come from, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. It uses cookies. Session recording (Webvisor) is turned off.

Google Analytics is loaded, but stores nothing on your device and sets no cookies until you press “Allow” in the banner at the bottom of the page. Your choice is saved in your browser; to change it, clear this site’s data in the browser settings.

The counters also record clicks on “Download” and “Thank the author” so I can see whether the pages do their job.

Apps

Mac Resources reads your Mac’s load locally; nothing leaves your computer. Every six hours it downloads a small file from dl.beregov.me to check for a new version — like any web request, it contains your IP address and the app version, and nothing else. After installation or an update it opens a “Thank you” page on this site once.

Donations

“Thank the author” leads to donatr.ee, a separate service with its own rules. I don’t receive any payment details.
