I’m Maxim Beregov, an engineer.

I like tools that do one thing well and look like they belong to the system they live in. That’s how I try to build my own: native apps without extra windows and settings, systems that can be read and maintained years later, infrastructure that stays out of the way.

Short version: the apps collect nothing, the site counts visits.

This site

Yandex Metrica counts visits: which pages are opened, where visitors come from, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location derived from the IP address. It uses cookies. Session recording (Webvisor) is turned off.

Google Analytics is loaded, but stores nothing on your device and sets no cookies until you press “Allow” in the banner at the bottom of the page. Your choice is saved in your browser; to change it, clear this site’s data in the browser settings.
